Goethe und Hafez

My presentation is about who Hafez was and why he was given the title "Tongue of the Unseen" (Lisan al-Ghayb). I will also talk about how Goethe became familiar with Hafez and how he was influenced by him. Another part of the presentation will explore what love meant to both Hafez and Goethe, West and East. And finally what message Hafez and Goethe offer to the World through their Poetry.
